Rowland Luxury Homes
A Friend in the Building Industry
by Morgan Benavidez
Founded in 1995, Rowland Luxury Homes is a private company that has spent over 13 years making its customers' dream homes a reality. With clientele ranging from working professionals to independents to retirees, this builder is prepared to cater to the needs of any homeowner. Listening to its clients every step of the way and paying careful attention to detail, Rowland Luxury Homes takes the stress out of the homebuilding process.
Not Your Average Builder
With over 20 years of experience, managing partner Guy Loisi is no stranger to the homebuilding industry. Originally from Chicago, Loisi first got started working as a finish carpenter for his father when he was a teenager. He joined Rowland Luxury Homes seven years ago and has every confidence in his fellow staff members.
"Our staff is incredibly unique, as they bring a diverse range of skills to the table," says Loisi. We firmly believe in synergy and teamwork among the employees in our organization, ensuring that everyone pays attention to the details."
The 100-member staff at Rowland Luxury Homes includes an in-house carpentry division, which serves as a subcontractor to multiple commercial and residential builders. Loisi points out that the carpentry division is extremely beneficial to the company's building process.
"With a self-performing carpentry division, we can cut our cost on the entire project while also strengthening our control over a project to better ensure our commitment to quality, details and timely construction," says Loisi.
Loisi describes the in-house carpentry division as one of the company's "three specific niches." The other two niches are building developer product and constructing custom luxury homes.
"Building developer product entails building a resort amenity and or a residential enclave for a large entity," says Loisi. "An example of this would be the InterContinentalMontelucia Resort and Spa or [a] similar retail or residential project led by a developer. The construction of customluxury homes is classically a second or third home for a client ranging from 3,000 to 15,000 square feet."
In addition to its three niches, Rowland Luxury Homes stands out in that it typically doesn't build spec homes. This helps the company to avoid residual inventory and maintain its status as a "custom build-to-suit builder."
Clients Come First
One of the most important aspects of Rowland Luxury Homes is its focus on customer service. Loisi says this means keeping the lines of communication open at all times and involving the homeowner every step of the way.
"Most major problems occur when there is a miscommunication between the owner and the homebuilder," says Loisi. "We are intensely accessible to our clients, thereby alleviating miscommunications, resulting in a relaxed, confident homebuilding experience for our customers and associates."
Rowland Luxury Homes offers many services to ensure its clients' peace of mind including 24-hour support and regularly updated project summaries. For clients that may be frequent travelers ormay own homes both nationally and internationally, Rowland Luxury Homes provides a live video feed from the construction sites, viewable from any location. This way, homeowners have the comfort of seeing their dream homes in progress anytime they please.
Another aspect of outstanding customer service is compassion, a quality Rowland Luxury Homes has in abundance. This builder recognizes that the homebuilding process is not something to be taken lightly. "Building a custom home is a large investment in time and money," says Loisi. "As a builder, we take pride in our compassion with such a vulnerable process."
With such a caring, professional staff, homeowners are sure to be pleased with the company's results. And at Rowland Luxury Homes, customer satisfaction is indeed the top priority.
"We want to make the entire process fun for our clients-a hassle-free homebuilding experience," says Loisi. "They are not buying a readymade product in our case; they are investing in a manifestation of their dream residence and they are intensely involved in the process."
The InterContinental Montelucia Resort and Spa
One of Rowland Luxury Homes' most recent projects, the InterContinental Montelucia Resort and Spa, combines Spanish and Moroccan influences with Old World Italian and Andalusian charm.
"The most memorable feature is the Alhambra walkway, which was created after the original in Spain," says Loisi. "It's a beautiful multicolored walkway and fountain feature leading up to the doors of the spa."
The community is comprised of 34 residential villas ranging from 3,800 to 4,700 square feet. Each villa is custom designed and within walking distance from the 30,000-square-foot spa, boutiques and restaurants. In addition to its fabulous Paradise Valley location, some of the advantages of living in the InterContinental Montelucia Resort and Spa include multiple swimming pools, a private concierge and a close-up view of Camelback Mountain.
Such a mixed project required a variety of detailed construction and a great deal of organization, which is precisely why Rowland Luxury Homes fit the bill.
"Rowland Luxury Homes is a perfect match to build such a quality custom product with an intense timeline," says Loisi. "The appeal of this property is that of luxury, refinement and a high quality of living."
Whether this company is building a single custom luxury home or an entire community, Rowland Luxury Homes puts the utmost effort into its work, maintaining organization and attention to detail throughout the homebuilding process. And most importantly, the customers' needs always come first.
